Everything shown on this site, as files you can load into a spreadsheet or a program: the current price of every fuel at 8,075 UK forecourts, and a daily price history for each of them since 16 February 2026. Free to use under the Open Government Licence.
The current-price files are rebuilt with each publication of this site, most recently on 30 August 2026 at 07:32 (UK time), from prices reported up to 29 Aug 2026, 15:26.

For prices that are never more than 15 minutes old, the site's own feed is public too:
https://api.cheapestpump.com/v1/meta.json lists the latest build time, per-fuel counts and medians,
and the latitude bands; each band at https://api.cheapestpump.com/v1/band/{band}.json holds the forecourts in half a degree
of latitude with their current prices; and https://api.cheapestpump.com/v1/history/{date}.json holds one day's prices for
every forecourt. Please cache what you fetch and do not poll more often than every 15 minutes, which is how often it changes.
The CSV and JSON files carry the same columns; the JSON version spells the names out in full.

Fuel codes are Fuel Finder's: E10 = Unleaded; E5 = Super unleaded; B7S = Diesel; B7P = Premium diesel; B10 = Diesel; HVO = HVO diesel.
The history file covers 16 February 2026 to 28 August 2026, for the four main fuels (E10, E5, B7 diesel
and premium diesel). To keep it small it records only the days on which a forecourt's price changed: for each
forecourt and fuel there is a list of [day, price] pairs, where day is an index into the
days list and the price holds until the next pair. Days before the first pair have no price.
Prices are in pence per litre.
The history is rebuilt from a public archive of Fuel Finder's twice-daily CSV, one snapshot per day, and is
extended as the archive grows. Independently of it, the site's feed keeps its own snapshot of every forecourt each
night from 28 August 2026 at https://api.cheapestpump.com/v1/history/{date}.json. Forecourts that have left the
scheme stay in the history, so it lists slightly more forecourts than the current-price files do.
Every figure originates in Fuel Finder, the government scheme run by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero under which every UK forecourt must report its prices, and since 1 May 2026 report any change within 30 minutes. Cheapest Pump tidies the names and addresses, adds the price-change history and the flags, and publishes the result; prices themselves are never altered, so a typing error at the forecourt appears here too. If a price looks wrong, report it to Fuel Finder.
The data is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0, which allows you to copy, publish, adapt and use it commercially, as long as you acknowledge the source. A suitable acknowledgement is:
