Short version: we do not use cookies, and your location never leaves your device.

Searches and your location

When you search by postcode, the postcode alone is sent to postcodes.io (a free, open service) to find its map position; nothing else about you is sent with it. When you press "Use my location", your browser asks your permission and then gives the position to the page, which uses it only to work out distances. It is never sent to us or anyone else. Searches are not stored by us; the address bar carries your search so that you can bookmark or share it, and you can clear it at any time.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies and uses no tracking pixels.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection data (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not receive or keep that data.

Contact

If you email us we keep your message for as long as needed to reply. We never add addresses to a mailing list.

Changes
